















Located 150 miles from New York City is one of the most beautiful vacation homes in the Catskill region. You and your loved ones will be able to relax in this beautiful mountainous area which was made famous by Washington Irving when he published the famous short story of Rip Van Winkle in 1819.
This luxurious getaway can accommodate five guests. A sixth guest can be accommodated with an airbed that is provided.
There are two full sized bedrooms in the house. The downstairs bedroom has a queen and twin bed which are both nicely decorated. The upstairs loft bedroom is accessible by a latter type stairs, has its own dedicated ½ bathroom, king size bed and private balcony facing the mountains.
The main bathroom is very rustic with wooden floors, it has a large sit-down shower and two shower heads.
The eat-in kitchen has a country style that includes handmade cabinets and counter tops along with hardware floors. You can sit down to eat and enjoy the views of the mountains. There is also a separate dining room area facing the sliding glass doors that overlook the mountains.
The living room is large, has hardware floors, cathedral ceilings which faces the back yard garden. There is a dresser full of games for those who want to stay-in for a fun comfortable game night.
Going around the house is a wraparound deck that covers the front and back of the house. The back yard is very private. Enjoy sitting near the garden and enjoy watching the deer and other wildlife nibble at the garden.
Swimming in the creek and hiking are just a two minute walk up the road. Also up the road is the Fern wood Bistro Bar with creek side dining. North Lake is just a 10 minute drive up the mountain for more swimming and enjoying nature. For the skiers Hunter Mountain provides the best skiing in the area and is only 20 minutes away. Other actives such as snow tubing and zip lining can be done at Hunter Mountain.
